No, it’s not hockey–this Toronto Maple Leafs hat is from the 1960s minor league baseball team. The team played at Hanlan’s Point (located on the Toronto Islands) from 1897-1926, and then at Maple Leaf Stadium (located at Bathurst and Lakeshore) from 1926 to 1967. The Toronto Maple Leafs saw great success over the years and is considered one of the 100 greatest minor league teams of all time. When the team folded after 1967, Toronto was without professional baseball until 1977, when the MLB added the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the 1977 expansion.
