This dazzling image shows Chicago Bears’ founder George Halas dissecting plays with two Hall of Famers, tackle (and later linebacker) George Connor (81) and quarterback Sid Luckman (42), as well as then-rookie quarterback Johnny Lujack (32), at the Bears’ 1948 training camp. The hand-printed image is from the original 4” by 5” transparency, and was taken by SPORT magazine for a feature article.
Each reproduction is printed on 100% Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper using UltraChrome K3 pigmented inks and produced to the highest standard of archival quality available.
Each piece is hand titled and numbered, carries The SPORT Collection emboss, and is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity which sets out the details of the edition as well as bearing a detailed description of the image.
