With 26 secs left, the Seahawks were at the 1 yd line, threatening the Patriots 4 pt lead. Seattle decided to throw and Malcolm Butler was ready, stepping in front of Ricardo Lockette to grab the interception, win the game, and give New England their 4th NFL Championship.

As the clock ticked down in the 3rd New England was down a TD and Bill Belichick decided to pull a trick play. Tom Brady tossed the ball to WR and former QB Julian Edelman who found Danny Amendola down field. The 51 yd TD pass gave the Patriots momentum and Brady got the winning TD in the 4th.

Early in the 3rd Bill Belichick called for offensive lineman Nate Solder to line up as an eligible receiver. Tom Brady hit Solder with a 16 yd TD pass and put another nail in the Colts’ coffin. New England scored another 3 TDs in their rout of the Colts and secured a place in the Super Bowl.

Having gone 2 – 2 to start the season, the Patriots needed a big win, and they got it in a rout vs the Bengals. Tom Brady started off the game with a crushing 80 yard drive ending in a 1 yd TD rush by Stevan Ridley. The game saw another 3 TDs and 5 FGs, and helped the Pats turn around the season.
