George Kaftan of Holy Cross University is the feature athlete on the cover of the SPORT Magazine’s March 1948 issue. A two-time All-American Center, Kaftan lead Holy Cross to the 1947 NCAA Championship in being named the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. He would go on to play for the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Baltimore Bullets of the NBA. Toronto Maple Leafs legend Syl Apps would also grace the March 1948 cover.
SPORT Magazine, which ran from 1946 to 2000, celebrated what its editors accurately anticipated would be the coming explosion of interest in professional and amateur sport in post-war North America. Our policy lasts for thirty days. If 30 days have gone in the past since you purchased, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
