It wasn’t until November 1, 1959 that a National Hockey League goalie began wearing a mask regularly. That man, of course, was the Montreal Canadiens’ Jacques Plante. But in previous seasons, other goalies had experimented with masks in practice. Here, Detroit Red Wings’ Hall of Famer Terry Sawchuk tries out a clear plastic protector made by Delbert Louch of St. Mary’s, Ontario. Photographed by Bob Benyas.

Our policy lasts for thirty days. If 30 days have gone in the past since you purchased, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.

For your item to be eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
