Sweet swinging Lou Gehrig of the New York Yankees was the feature athlete on the cover of the SPORT Magazine’s October 1948 issue. Named to MLB’s All-time Team, Gehrig was a six-time World Series Champion, seven-time All-Star and two-time AL MVP. The legendary first baseman was the first MLB player to ever have his number retired.
SPORT Magazine, which ran from 1946 to 2000, celebrated what its editors accurately anticipated would be the coming explosion of interest in professional and amateur sport in post-war North America. The actual stock levels can fluctuate at any time. Please be aware that it's possible that your order will become unavailable even after you have placed the order.
Our policy lasts for thirty days. If 30 days have gone in the past since you purchased, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
