The Toronto Huskies have a short history, having been founded in 1946 before folding at the end of that same season in 1947. Professional national level basketball would not return to Toronto for another 48 years, when the Raptors stepped onto the court for the first time in 1995. Today, the Huskies are represented by the Toronto Raptors in the form of their “throwback” vintage jerseys as well as several “retro nights” throughout the year that transforms the court from Raptors black and red to Huskies blue and white, with Huskies logos and script throughout.
